About the Role

As a Mega Events Advisor, you鈥檒l be at the forefront of delivering one of the UK鈥檚 most ambitious sporting events, the Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes 2027. You鈥檒l manage 黑料不打烊鈥檚 investment into the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) established for the event, ensuring funding is used effectively, transparently, and strategically. This includes overseeing financial assurance, supporting governance, and representing 黑料不打烊 across event subgroups to ensure alignment with national ambitions and best practice.

Beyond this flagship event, you鈥檒l contribute to 黑料不打烊鈥檚 broader Mega Events strategy, offering expert advice on feasibility, budgets, benefit assessments, and commercial arrangements for future hosting opportunities. You鈥檒l work closely with partners across government, sport, and international stakeholders, helping shape the UK鈥檚 global reputation for delivering impactful, inclusive, and world-class sporting experiences.

This is a Fixed Term contract until 31 March 2028.

About You

You鈥檙e a confident and collaborative professional with experience in managing public investment and delivering major events. You bring strong financial literacy, strategic thinking, and a practical approach to problem-solving. You鈥檙e comfortable working with senior stakeholders, navigating complex partnerships, and adapting in a fast-paced environment.

You鈥檒l thrive in this role if you have a passion for sport, a commitment to public value, and a drive to make live sport matter.
