Central Venue Manager - Part Time Organisation The Junior Premier League Salary Attractive package Location Various Contract type Fixed Term (Part time) Closing date 4 August 2025 Interview date 10 August 2025 Job Description The Junior Premier League is recruiting a number of part-time central venue manager roles, in three different locations across England. We are looking for the successful candidates to begin work in early September 2025. These roles will suit reliable, organised and people-focused individuals with a strong interest in grassroots football. You鈥檒l be representing the JPL at your venue 鈥 ensuring match-days run smoothly, safely, and in line with our brand values. From supervising referees and setting up pitches, to managing relationships with clubs and the venue itself, you'll play a key role in delivering a professional, enjoyable experience for players, coaches and families.The ideal candidate will be punctual, confident in dealing with people, and comfortable managing logistics and reporting. A passion for football 鈥 and for creating the best possible environment for young players 鈥 is essential.*Key responsibilities include:-Venue weekly Health and Safety checks-Pitch organisation and set-up聽-Supervise referees-Be visible and available to deal with queries-Data, results and incident reporting-Address and report negative behaviour聽-Report good news stories-Ensure brand guidelines are followed at venue-Manage relationships with clubs / teams-Manage relationships with the venue, ensuring the Service Level Agreement is followed-Represent the JPL positively at all times*Key person skills include:-Punctuality-Developing relationships with customers-Planning-Organisation-Reliability-Knowledge of football within the local area*Desirable skills / knowledge include:-Football referee experience-Football coach experience-First aid qualified-FA child welfare qualified*Successful applicants must have a valid FA DBS certificate.聽*Applicants should be available Saturdays, from September to April:*Roles available in the following locations, at the following times: Portsmouth - Saturday 8.45am 鈥 2pmSlough - Saturday 8.30am 鈥 6.30pmRyedale - Saturday 8.45am 鈥 1pmABOUT THE JPLThe Junior Premier League (JPL) is one of the world鈥檚 most successful youth sports organisations.
