The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering our coaching curriculum, helping with individual player development and assisting with daily academy tasks. Summary of main duties Plan and deliver structured coaching sessions to the academy players.鈥 Effectively identify the players that can progress through the academy鈥檚 pathway. 鈥 Work closely with all academy and club staff to ensure all tasks are complete including admin and logistics. 鈥 Lead and manage a Wednesday fixtures & U16s games.Responsibilities & Key DutiesCoaching, Plan, Deliver & Review highly structured coaching sessions for Academy teams in conjunction to the Academy philosophy and coaching programme. Ensure the training programme is clearly detailed with careful consideration in regard to periodisation and player needs/load. Open approach to your daily tasks with constant liaison with all relevant departments including Academy, Physiotherapy, Analysis, Recruitment & 1st Team. Communicate professionally with players, parents & staff on a regular basis. Complete Individual Learning Plans whilst planning, delivering and reviewing structured 1 to 1 sessions to help aid player development. Responsibilities & Key Duties Match DaysLead and manage a Wednesday fixtures & U16s games. Assist with the management of all teams鈥 games programmes when needed. Assist in the arrangement of necessary transport for academy teams. Assist in the arrangement of necessary kits for academy teams. Assist in the arrangement of officials for academy teams. Arrange staff to be at games where necessary. Effectively communicate with all players to ensure the correct details are given ahead of match day. Responsibilities & Key DutiesReviewsOrganise and conduct 2 reviews for Academy players at Christmas and at the end of the season with clarity on how players can develop at the academy. Provide clear reports to help aid player learning and development. Responsibilities & Key Duties Other DutiesLiaise closely with the clubs recruitment staff on a weekly basis. To be responsible for Academy sites effectively liaising with facility providers, coaches, parents, players and guardians. Work closely with Head of Recruitment and Academy Manager to help the Academy鈥檚 continued growth Assist in ensuring all players have completed the relevant forms. Assist with school taster days/open evenings, opportunities to coach potential recruits & exit trials. Be flexible to work varied hours as per the requirements of the Academy teams. Work closely with the Academy staff to ensure transport, officials and pitches are always booked well in advance. Keep all necessary qualifications up to date as per the FA guidelines.
